Yes, all of the Ademero Paperless Office Suite products still integrate with one-another, as well as with a host of 3rd party products.
The new Content Central version 7 no longer uses Java within the product. Also, a new desktop application with more functionality and without the need for Java replaces the previous version’s DirectScan.
Similar to versions past, upgrading to the new Content Central version 7 will require the database to be upgraded. In most cases, existing server and SQL versions will not require any upgrades. Content Central version 7 gives you the option to install with SQL Express 2012 and is compatible with SQL 2008 or better.
Users that wish to remain on the classic interface can find the ability to switch styles located in the user options area.
Admin areas are similar to the previous version with additions for new features and other minor changes.
Packets are displayed in a cards-style or list-style layouts. Clicking a particular packet will display the cards-style or list-style layout of the document contents of the selected packet. Clicking a document will display that document in a full-screen view.
Content Central version 7 has many ways to capture documents including new Mobile Apps and Desktop Folder Syncing, as well as traditional methods like desktop scanners, multifunction copiers, and integrations with desktop applications.
