- Login as ‘Admin’ or as user or member of a group with Administration Permission for ‘Reports Template’ and ‘Workflow’.
- Create a ‘Report Template’.
- Click ‘Admin’.
- In the Admin Menu, click ‘Reports Template’.
- In the Manage Report Templates page, click ‘Add Template’.
- In the Report-Template Details page –
- Enter a Report Name.
- Set your preference.
- Click ‘Apply’.
- Create a ‘Generate Report Action’ and use the created ‘Report Template’ in #2.
- Click ‘Admin’.
- In the Admin Menu, click ‘Workflow’.
- In the Manage Workflow page, click ‘Actions’.
- In the Manage Workflow Actions page –
- Select Type, ‘Generate Report’.
- Click ‘Add Action’.
- Select the created ‘Report Template’ in #2 to base the report.
- Click ‘Apply’.
- Create a ‘Trigger’.
- Click ‘Admin’.
- In the Admin Menu, click ‘Workflow’.
- In the Manage Workflow page, click ‘Triggers’.
- In the Manage Workflow Triggers page –
- Select Type, ‘Reports’.
- Click ‘Add Trigger’.
- Set your preference.
- Click ‘Apply’.
- Create a ‘Rule’ to link the created ‘Trigger’ in #4 and the created ‘Action’ in #3.
- Click ‘Admin’.
- In the Admin Menu, click ‘Workflow’.
- In the Manage Workflow page, click ‘Rules’.
- In the Manage Workflow Rules page, click ‘Add Rule’
- In the Manage Workflow-Rule Details page –
- Enter a Rule name.
- Click ‘Add Trigger’. Check to select the trigger created in #4.
- Click ‘Add Actions’. Check to select the action created in #3.
- Verify ‘Enabled’ is checked.
- Click ‘Apply’.
- Download the ‘Report Template’. All the reports can be found on the server inside the ‘Reports Root Folder’. The most recently generated report, based on the Workflow Rule (schedule) can be downloaded from Content Central Reports Template Page.
- Click ‘Admin’.
- In the Admin Menu, click ‘Reports Template’.
- In the Manage Report Templates page, click ‘Download’ (disk) icon.
